Nancy Pelosi has warned the UK that there will be “absolutely no chance” that a trade deal with Washington will go through Congress if the government cancels boris Johnson`s Brexit withdrawal agreement. The UK government is pushing forward a new Internal Market Act, which will allow ministers to repeal their agreement with the EU by unilaterally waiving customs documents for goods travelling from Northern Ireland to the mainland UK and tariffs on exports travelling the other way. But US spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi said there was “no chance” that a trade deal between Britain and the US would go through the US Congress if the UK violates international agreements and undermines the Good Friday agreement.
